A New Way for Businesses to Create the Next Generation of Mobile Applications

Leveraging Technology and Streebo announce a strategic partnership to develop fully integrated enterprise applications to support banking, insurance, retail and other businesses.

Rochester, NY, October 29, 2014 – Leveraging Technology and Streebo, Inc. have teamed up to create a rapid development and deployment process to help companies innovate and compete on mobile platforms that connect business to smart phones and tablets used by consumers and employees.

According to Scott Azwell, Leveraging Technology’s lead consultant and SAP practitioner, “There’s a substantial demand for mobile business apps that enable both new and existing business processes while leveraging existing systems of record. Companies are either planning to implement mobile apps in the near future or they want to improve the apps they already have. Development and deployment has been taxing. The people who build the apps don’t necessarily understand the systems with which they need to exchange data. And company IT departments are already challenged by the complexities of integrating enterprise systems.”

The partnership between Leveraging Technology and Streebo bridges this gap. “We picked Streebo because they offer solid mobile application design and development standards,” said Azwell. “With our company’s expertise in integration and enterprise architecture, we can quickly and efficiently couple Streebo’s high-quality components to the Enterprise and enable mobile. In fact, we’ve developed a documented methodology – what we refer to as a ‘framework’ – specifically for this process.”

The benefits of this unified approach to mobile app development include faster time to market, lower development costs and more efficient ongoing management of the technology. “The time is right,” said Azwell. “Our customers in banking, insurance and retail have been looking for a better way to get apps for ecommerce, customer portals and sales force support up and running. With Streebo for apps and Leveraging Technology for integration, we think we have what they’re looking for.”

New Face at Leveraging Technology – Brian Moran

July 7, 2014

Brian Moran has joined our Information Architecture practice to assist on projects applying the latest technologies to manage and process enterprise-level “big data” for analytics.

Brian’s knowledge of Netezza and the “Big Data” ecosystem will be an asset as he works with Nate Byrnes and Mark Haeger on client engagements and internal solution development. IBM’s Netezza offering brings performance boosts to data analytics through its massively parallel architecture bundled up as a high availability appliance. Brian has been working with Netezza since 2007 with his client who was one of the first to acquire the hardware, moving petabytes of data on a daily basis. Brian is looking forward to working on Leveraging’s soon-to-be released elastic search software and dashboards.

“In my previous jobs I’ve done everything from architecture to writing and debugging software. I’m looking forward to deepening my skills in these areas and learning more working with the folks at Leveraging,” said Brian. Brian joins us from Preclarity Inc. and Odyssey software. He will be based in our Rochester headquarters.
